The Story Behind FOLD
FOLD began with a simple question: why do most wallets rely on rigid, mechanical lines?
Instead of straight cuts, curved designer lines were introduced to reflect the natural movement of leather.
The interior was simplified to remove visual noise and unnecessary layers.
The focus shifted from features to form, from storage to experience—setting it apart through quiet design.
FOLD was created to disappear into daily life and slowly become familiar, exuding quiet luxury in the process.
Shipping & Returns
If the product is in stock, we can dispatch it in 1 or 2 days.
The item will be shipped via Bluedart Air, Maruthy Air, or Delhivery Express for speedy delivery.
Delivery time ranges from 2 to 7 days based on your pin code.
Your purchase is eligible for return or exchange under a 5 day Window only if: 1) An incorrect product was delivered to you, i.e. the product does not match the images shared via WhatsApp or a wrong product is provided. 2)You receive the item in a completely damaged state.
We take utmost care to avoid a situation that may lead to a return. We will send you the actual photos of the product through Whatsapp(If the WhatsApp number is shared) before packing. You will be receiving the exact same product as shown to you on Whatsapp.
Maintenance and Care
As with all natural leather, it is not waterproof and may absorb marks from daily use. These changes are part of the leather’s natural aging process and make each piece unique.
For best longevity, store in open, breathable spaces and avoid prolonged storage in closed boxes or humid environments. Natural leather benefits from air circulation, which helps prevent moisture build-up and fungal Growth.
All products should be carried in front or side pockets. Continuous pressure from back pockets may distort the structure over time.
Contact with lacquer, perfume or anything containing alcohol can cause damage. Keeping your accessory away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity and water will extend the life of it. Exposure to makeup, oil, dyes and dark denim can stain the leather and be difficult to remove. Be certain to protect your leather from water as this may cause a stain on your item. If your product does get wet simply dab it with a lint free absorbent cloth of a light color.

FULL-GRAIN ITALIAN LEATHER
Artefy uses full-grain leather sourced from Italy, which preserves the hide’s natural top layer instead of sanding or coating it away. Many standard brands use corrected or coated leather that looks uniform but loses strength over time. Full-grain retains its dense fibre structure, making it more resistant to cracking and surface breakdown. Because it is left natural, it develops a unique patina with use rather than staying artificially unchanged. This means each Artefy piece becomes visually personal instead of mass-identical.
VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER
Artefy leather is vegetable tanned using a slow, plant-based process rather than fast chemical tanning methods. Conventional tanning often prioritizes speed and uniform colour over long-term material character. Vegetable tanning keeps the leather more breathable and responsive to handling and movement. Over time, the surface deepens in tone and character instead of peeling or flaking. The result is a product that evolves with use, rather than one that simply ages.
TRADITIONAL SADDLE STITCHING.
Each product is stitched by hand using the traditional saddle stitch technique — two needles, a single continuous thread, and waxed nylon-polyester fibre. Unlike machine stitching, where a single break can unravel an entire seam, saddle stitching locks each stitch individually, making the construction stronger and more durable over time. This method is slower and requires skilled hands, but it ensures seams remain secure, even with daily use. The result is a wallet that holds its structure and integrity for years, not seasons.
